Four years and counting

On February 25th Eric and I celebrated 4 years of marriage. It's hard to believe that much time has already gone by. We have sure had a busy 4 years. Since our anniversary fell on a Thursday we didn't actually celebrate until the next day. All 3 of our kids went somewhere different - Joey stayed the night with his best friend, Tori with her best friend, and William stayed the evening with one of Eric's co-workers. She had to work the next day so he didn't stay the night, but we at least got a few hours to ourselves. We had a very nice dinner at Pio Loco's. It sure is strange eating alone without kids. We almost don't know how to act without having to constantly tell kids to sit down, quiet down, and mind their manners. It seems that conversation kept coming back to them too. Funny how you get to be parents and suddenly you forget how to have conversations that don't somehow revolve around your kids. All in all it was a very nice evening. Our last time alone before the baby was born.
